Kaiteriteri Beach is Tasman District's busiest beach and usable at any time of the tide. It is located 15 minutes drive north of Motueka. The main recreational uses are swimming, waterskiing and kayaking. During the peak Christmas-January period the beach has about 700-1500 visitors a day.
