A broken wastewater pipe in Roseneath is causing wastewater to flow into the stormwater system and out onto the beach opposite 100 Evans Bay Parade.
Initial testing has shown high levels of faecal contamination. We strongly advise no swimming or entering the water in the Balaena Bay area until further notice.
