Hawke's Bay Regional Council are currently investigating the cause of the discolouration in the Wairoa River. Samples were taken on Tuesday 9th and while HBRC wait for results, caution is advised for swimming due to the unknown cause. An update will be provided once analysis of the samples is complete.
