Buller River at Shingle Beach

Shingle Beach is a small sandy and cobbly beach located on the northern side of the Buller River in Westport, downstream of the town. The beach is accessed via an unpaved road from Coates Street.  The beach provides an excellent location for swimming, fishing and walking when the conditions are suitable.
