Air quality measured at the site is generally good and meets national guidelines and standards. The monitoring site is exposed to winds which helps disperse traffic emissions so they don't build up to unhealthy levels.
Levels of nitrogen dioxide and carbon monoxide are highest during the morning and evening commuter rush hour. Levels of these pollutants also increase during the winter months when there is generally less wind to blow the air pollution away.
