Paparahia Stream

Paparahia Stream originates in the hills south of Waikawau and west of the Herangi Ranges. The stream has a length of approximately 6km and the majority of the catchment is indigenous forest. This, in addition to a hard bottomed substrate of cobbles, gravels and wood provides excellent habitat for native freshwater species.
