Please be aware that there has been an overflow from the NPDC wastewater system into the Battiscombe Terrace outlet to sea that has the potential to affect public health. An investigation into the cause of the discharge is underway.
The discharge started on 19/11/2024 at 11:00 am and ceased 19/11/2024 at 2:37 pm.
Warning signs have been erected at affected sites. It is recommended that there is and no collecting kai from affected sites until 18/12/2024.
