Waimoku

The Waimoku Stream originates in Te Papakura o Taranaki and flows through the Kaitake ranges. It enters the sea at Oakura, approximately three and a half kilometres beyond the national park boundary. The catchment was added to the macroinvertebrate monitoring programme in 1999 to monitor the trends in relation to riparian planting.
