Tokanui

The Tokanui catchment is a relatively small coastal catchment at the southern end of the Catlins. Its steep topography and regular rainfall means it is subject to higher risk of erosion. The lower reaches are affected by sedimentation. Agriculture is the primary land use in this catchment.
