Mokotua Stream

The Mokotua Stream is a tributary of the New River Estuary. The monitoring site is located in the upper reaches of the Mokotua Stream. The land area upstream of the sampling site is minimally modified and part of the RAMSAR Awarua wetland complex. The site is a reference site for high organic content streams, and peat soils.
