Te Hoiere/Pelorus River at Pelorus Bridge

The Te Hoiere/Pelorus River at Pelorus Bridge is one of the most popular river sites during summer with visitors swimming and bush walking. A campground and a café with shop are located nearby. Over 90% of the catchment remains in native vegetation, but there are some farms  upstream of the sampling site.
