Ngakuta Bay

Ngakuta Bay is a small catchment within the Marlborough Sounds. It is typical for many other small Sounds catchments, being mainly covered by regenerating native vegetation with a comparatively small residential area near the coast. Poorly maintained private sewage treatment systems are the greatest threat to water quality.
