Listed in AA's Top 101 things to do in NZ - a very popular free adventure.  Awarded Certificate of Excellence by Tripadvisor, listed as one of the most popular things to do in Gisborne. A 60 metre long smooth natural water slide ending in a large deep pool, makes it a popular adventure activity on the Wharekopae River.

Note: Serious injury can occur when using the slide, rocks can be sharp and slippery.  Drowning has occurred. If you can't swim - don't slide. Care is advised especially during low water flow.
