Lake Hood at Bayliss Beach
Lake Hood is a man made recreational lake located near the township of Ashburton.
This site is monitored for recreational water quality during the summer months only.
This artificial lake is surrounded by recreational areas and housing. A popular place for motor boats. Set in a large open lowland area. Recreational facilities are continuing to be developed with picnic tables and toilet facilities available. This site is located near the rowing sheds, with the inflow drain nearby.
